MAIN AWARD
The main award of this year’s international opera competition “Lazar Jovanović” will be a full-length solo recital with orchestra on the main stage of Kolarac Endowment during the concert season 2022/2023. The award is sponsored by the Ilija M. Kolarac Endownment and the Cultural element. The amount of the main prize is 500 euros, provided by JCI Serbia and the Ćesarov family, and AV Team production provides video and photos of the concert.
CULTURAL ELEMENT AWARDS
Continuing the tradition, The Cultural element will be awarding three contestants who will be singled out by their professionalism and the beauty of their interpretation. Regardless of the category in which contestants compete, the Cultural element will award the mentioned contestants with solo concerts, which will be performed during the concert season 2022/2023 within the “Winners” edition. The winners will be selected by representatives of the Cultural element and in addition to the concert the Cultural element will also offer music books to laureates of all categories. The financial amount of these prizes is 200 euros each, provided by JCI Belgrade and family Ćesarov.
OPEROSA OPERA FESTIVAL AWARD
This year Operosa Foundation traditionally awards the candidates of the international opera competition Lazar Jovanović of the third, fourth and fifth categories. The special award includes the participation of the winner in the activities of Operosa, the only opera festival in Montenegro, which is held in Herceg Novi and the Lustica peninsula or in one of the educational programs held by Operosa as part of activities on the enoa network project, depending on festival and project activities.
AV TEAM AWARD
AV Team production continues with the awards this year as well. Three contestants from those who submitted audio and video recordings receive a professional studio recording of three arias of their choice from AV Team Production. The prize is awarded to competitors from III, IV or V category.
SPECIAL AWARD OF JURY MEMBER ULF BASTLEIN
Ulf Bastlein (Austria) awards a special prize, which includes free participation in the Schloss vor Husum Festival.
SPECIAL AWARD OF JURY MEMBER MARIA TEMESI
Jury member Maria Temesi (Hungary) presents a special award of the foundation “HAZÁM, HAZÁM TE MINDENEM Művészeti és Oktatási Alapítvány” which implies participation in the next international competition Shimandi in Szeged (Hungary).
