Dan Pataka
Dr. Dan Pataka, is Vocal soloist at Opera Romana in Timisoara and Associate professor at the Faculty of Music and Theater in Timisoara. He graduated in singing from the Faculty of Music at Western University of Timisoara in the class of professor Alexandru Moisiuc. At the same Western University of Timisoara he obtained his PhD degree.
Pataka had a privilege to Collaborate with artistic institutions such as: Opera Romana Iasi, Lyric Theatre in Craiova, Constanta Opera, Galati Lyric Theatre, Radio Bucharest, Satu-Mare Philharmonic, Philharmonic “George Enescu” Bucharest.
He has held a series of concerts throughout: Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Yugoslavia, Hungary ,Albania, S. Korea. Pataka appeared in many roles in operas such as: The Elixir of Love, Don Pasquale, Traviata, The Troubador, Aida, Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Don Giovanni, The Barber of Seville, Faust etc.
