Mina Gligorić completed her bachelor's and master's studies in solo singing at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Professor Katarina Jovanović. Shortly after her studies, she became a member of the Madlenianum Opera and Theatre, where she debuted as Pamina in Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute".
In the same house, she has achieved notable roles in the musicals "Les Misérables" (Fantine, Éponine, Cosette), "The Last Five Years" (Cathy Hiatt), as well as in the operettas "The Merry Widow" (Hanna Glawari, Valencienne) and "La Vie parisienne" (Gabrielle). In collaboration with a production from China, she debuted as Zerlina in Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni", while at the Terazije Theatre she performs as Christine in Webber's musical "The Phantom of the Opera".
Significant performances and development
The year 2019 stands out in particular, during which she debuted in as many as nine solo roles. Among them, the title role in Petar Konjović's opera "Koštana" is especially noteworthy, which was premiered again on the stage of the National Theatre in Belgrade after more than six decades.
She has perfected her skills with prominent artists such as Olga Makarina (Metropolitan Opera), David Gowland (Royal Opera House), Vladimir Redkin (Bolshoi Theatre), Marjana Lipovšek, and others.
In the previous season, she debuted at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad as Tamara in Rubinstein's opera "The Demon", and in the same theater she will soon perform again in the role of Susanna in Mozart's opera "The Marriage of Figaro".
Awards and pedagogical work
She is the recipient of numerous recognitions, among which stands out the award for the best young performer for 2019, awarded by the classical music review "Muzika klasika". In 2021, she won third prize in the vocal discipline at the international event "Army of Culture" in Moscow, as a representative of Serbia on behalf of the Ministry of Defense, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In addition to her performing career, she is actively involved in pedagogical work. She was engaged as a professor of solo singing at the "Kosta Manojlović" Music School, and today she is dedicated to working with young singers and as an associate at the Clinical Centre of Serbia, in the phoniatrics department, where she participates in working with the voice from an artistic and medical perspective.
